Here is a selection of Blenders we have tested and highly approve of to make your favorite Nutmilks and Smoothies. In addition we include a special “juicer” below, the Omega VRT350, which crushes (instead of blending) the ingredients with an auger for a low friction highest nutrition process.
Vitamix TurboBlend Two Speed
We found the Vitamix to do the best job pulverizing all ingredients to the smoothest consistency. We’ve also made a Nutti “Hot” Chocolate by using the Vitamix to warm the mixture to 110 degrees Fahrenheit, see our App for our recipes. It’s also the most expensive blender we’ve tested at close to $400, but you can’t go wrong with a Vitamix! This is an appliance used in professional settings due to it’s durability. The below model has two settings, high and low. We chose this model because it’s a little more affordable than the one with a variable speed knob which is not necessary to make nutmilks and smoothies.

Nutribullet Pro 900 Series
Another blender that excels in making nutmilks. Although the Ninja and Vitamix beat our Nutribullet, the Nutribullet has no trouble making a smooth nutmilk. It’s also an excellent price for its quality at around $150. It comes with a super 32 oz. cup, small cup and two tall cups. The Pro 900 Series has 900 Watts of power which is significantly more than other model NBR-12 at 600 Watts. It also comes with a milling blade for chopping and grinding grains and herbs.

Ninja BL660
The Ninja is a powerful blender at an affordable price. You can make silky smooth nutmilks with it, although the Vitamix was still the smoothest in our comparison. See the Ninja Mega Kitchen System below for more options. I like that the blender has blades at three separate heights along the shaft.

Ninja BL771 Mega Kitchen System
The Ninja is a powerful blender at an affordable price. You can make silky smooth nutmilks with it. The Ninja Mega Kitchen System adds a food processor to your blending options, making a very versatile appliance for it’s size. It has an eight cup and three cup food processor container. I like that the blender has blades at three separate heights along the shaft.

Ninja BL830 Ultima Blender
We didn’t get to test this model, but it seems to be their professional grade entry at 2.5 horsepower. Based on the Ninja we did test, this must be an amazing blender. This model has a variable speed control plus a 1500 watt 2.5 horsepower motor. Our 900 watt model was nearly half the power, but was comparable to the Vitamix. I like that the Ninja has three sets of blades on the shaft.

Tribest PB-250 Affordable Personal Blender
Affordable, compact, lightweight and makes great smoothies and nutmilks! There’s even an AC/DC adapter you can order to plug into your car. The PB-250 version comes with both a blender and a grinder assemblies. We put it to the test, and it made smooth nutmilks. I like the personal size (16 oz) because it’s quick to prep, mix and clean. I’ve been inspired to do more experimenting in the kitchen because it’s so quick!

Omega VRT350 Heavy Duty Masticating Juicer
We included the Omega VRT350 vertical masticating juicer, because it’s another great way to make nutmilks while preserving the most nutrients in the process. It also is an excellent choice for people who wish to have a juicer instead or in addition to a blender. Omega’s literature says The Vert VRT350 Low Speed Juicing System processes at 80 RPM, preventing oxidation and allowing juice to be stored for up to 72 hours without degradation.” This appliance is also great for making wheat grass juice. The motor is geared to convert it’s 150 watts to 2 horse power for crushing ingredients.
